Breathing Exercises and Mindfulness: A Path to Better Health

Welcome to week three of Mental Health Awareness Month at Brent Higgins Trucking in Mulberry, AR! As we continue our journey to prioritize mental well-being, we are continuing our partnership with Nivati to promote mindfulness and better mental health among our employees.

Goal: Learn! Follow along with a Nivati yoga class, meditation, or breathing exercise video. And notice! Pick up a leaf, stick, or rock outside, and take time to feel and observe the textures and details.

One of our goals this week is to engage in Nivati yoga classes, meditation sessions, or breathing exercises. These practices not only promote relaxation but also enhance our cognitive functions, improve our sleep quality, and benefit our cardiovascular and respiratory health.

Additionally, we encourage everyone to take a moment to connect with nature by observing the textures and details of objects like leaves, sticks, or rocks. This simple act of mindfulness can help ground us in the present moment and foster a deeper appreciation for the world around us.
